Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is a Greco-Roman tomb for a single greek family that dates to the 2n century BC. It has three floors filled with great decorations from the early Roman and Hellenistic eras.  

Pompey's Pillar

Pompey’s pillar was carved around 300 AD for the Roman emperor Diocletian. It is 33.85 m high and made of granite and is rumored to possess the remains of general Pompey.

The Bibliotheca Alexandria was opened to the public in 2002 to keep the spirit of the ancient library alive. It possesses the sixth biggest francophone library on earth plus a number of inner museums, art galleries, and many more.  

Qaitbay Citadel

The Qaitbay Citadel is a majestic Islamic fortress constructed by Mamluk Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa'it Bay in 1447 AD across the coast of the Mediterranean Sea on the exact location that contained one of the seven wonders of the ancient world Lighthouse of Alexandria.  

Then you will transfer to your hotel in Alexandria

After breakfast check out and start your trip to Siwa oasis, From the moment your tour starts, your guide will give you full attention. Once in the car, your guide will talk to you about all the things on the way as well as other aspects of your tour that will interest you. Start your tour by driving to Alamein, stop at Al Alamein, you will enjoy the site of a great battle during WW II, then stop. Then drive on to the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh and continue to Siwa.
When you arrive Siwa you will visit the Old City of Siwa ( Shaly)
 Overnight in Siwa  

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Dead Mountain ( Gabel El Mouta ) where you can see man tombs like SI Amon, MSW Isis, Crocodile Tombs, then visit siwa salt lake

Visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, Cleopatra bath, lunch then drive back to Cairo.
